How does Renta-Yenta work?
Renta-Yenta is a professional concierge and personal assistant service that will perform the daily activities that everyone has to do but that most people do not enjoy. Renta-Yenta provides professional help at the office and personal help at home to anyone who needs support. Please ask us about any errand or job that you need performed and we will let you know if we can take care of it for you.
What services do you offer?
Renta-Yenta breaks down our services into three (3) categories: personal, corporate and office/administrative services. We can provide services as diverse as walking your dog to planning your child's Bat Mitzvah or organizing your file cabinet. At Renta-Yents, we pride ourselves on getting the job done, so just ask for what you need and we will do our best to get it done!
I need Renta-Yenta to provide a service that I don't see on your list of services. Can you help me?
Our website service lists are really only a short list of the services that we can and do provide to our clients. We qvell when we are challenged to provide a new or different service so please dont hesitate to ask us for something you dont see on the list but need us to do. We do, however, want to be clear that we will only perform services that are legal, moral and ethical.
How much do you charge for your services?
Most of our services are $30 per hour. There are a few Renta-Yenta services that are more expensive than the rest (i.e., event planning, handyman services and organizing services), and a few that are less money (i.e., house-sitting and pet-sitting), so it is best to ask us any questions that you may have before we start to work together. We will always tell you before we start exactly how much you will be charged for a particular job.
What hours does the Renta-Yenta staff work?
Our office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are some of our services such as house or pet-sitting, handyman or event services where we will need to work other hours.
We do ask that you try to give us 48 hour notice when requesting new services but we recognize that not everything can be planned and that people have emergencies. If you do need emergency services, we will do everything we can to meet your needs in the time-frame that you request. If we don't manage to complete your job due to time or staff constraints during an emergency request, we will continue to work with you to get the job done in as timely a fashion as possible.

Emergency services are subject to a (possible) emergency fee of up to $50.00. Exceptions can and will be made to this policy at the discretion of management.
Do you ever share personal information that I give you?
Renta-Yenta does NOT ever share our clients' information with any other party for any reason.
How and when do I pay for my services?
Payment for all of our services is payable on request of services or upon completion of the job depending on the services requested. All additional charges incurred such as tickets, dry-cleaning, groceries, car service, or other extraneous expenses are payable before we complete the service. We do accept checks but ask that all of our clients secure our services with a major credit card. All of our monthly and yearly clients must keep a current credit card number on file. We accept cash, mastercard, vias and american express, personal checks and certified bank checks.
Can I buy hours in a package or in a weekly or monthly plan?
Yes, we are very flexible with how our clients use our services. Renta-Yenta offers services by the hour, we offer monthly and yearly packages or you can buy hours in a block to give as a gift to new parents or new neighbors, for birthdays and anniversaries or for anyone who could really use our help!
All block hours/packages must be paid for before we start to perform our services or they need to be secured by a current major credit card. If you, as our client, use more hours than you purchased in your plan, you can purchase individual hours or another package. All unused hours will roll over to the next month. All monthly or yearly packages must be used by the end of the calendar year or they will be converted to gift certificates to be used at your discretion, be it for your own use or to share as a gift.
How do I earn free hours or get discounts on your services?
The Renta-Yenta client referral program provides one free hour of service or a 10% discount for the month for any current clients services for ten or more hours in their first month. The free hour or discount will be given to our client after their reference pays for their services.
Does Renta-Yenta offer gift certificates?
You may purchase a gift certificate using one of our packages or a block of hours that will fit your loved ones needs. We are happy to help you custom design a special package designed just for the you and for the lucky recipient of the gift certificate!
